Hi! I’m Katie, and I’ve done a lot of things. I ran a bakery in Denver, selling cookies to breweries and throwing fun events like beer and cookie pairings. I spent 10 years managing craft beer operations, marketing, and customer service. I’ve worked in the adventure travel industry, guiding incredible trips around the world and doing tour operations. I've been the person everyone asks for help, the person holding the whole thing together with sticky notes, spreadsheets, and a lot of “I'll remember that.”
I’ve also hiked more trails in Colorado than I could ever count, spent time camping in the Midwest, and I’m probably the best pogo-sticker you’ll ever meet. I love animals with a crazy amount of passion. I love great food and will seek out the weird, outlandish flavors that brands like Oreo and Pringles decide to come out with.
I've worked inside businesses where the systems were pieced together as they grew, where too much lived in one person's head, processes changed depending on who was doing the work, and taking a vacation felt nearly impossible. That's where Good Roost comes in.
I’m taking what I've learned from years of making complicated operations and customer service work and using it to help business owners build systems that don't depend on one person holding everything together.
The goal isn't to make your business more corporate, bury you in processes, or turn you into an AI-operated business.
It's to make your business clearer, easier to run, and less dependent on you, so you can actually enjoy the thing you built. I’d love to talk to you more about what we can do together over a barleywine or a barrel-aged stout (or coffee works, too).
